很多人写作文喜欢开门见山:“I want to talk about……”
- “In recent years, with the rapid development of social media, people's way of communicating has undergone a tremendous change.”
- “It is universally acknowledged that education plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's future.”
- “We are living in an era where technology is advancing at an unprecedented speed, bringing both convenience and challenges to our daily lives.”
我以前写“环保”主题的作文,开头总是“Environmental protection is very important.” 后来我学会了用描述现象的方式:“Have you ever noticed that the weather seems more unpredictable these days? Extreme weather events like heatwaves and heavy downpours are becoming more frequent, a clear signal that our planet is crying for help.”
- “What would you do if you had a million dollars? This question has lingered in many people's minds, sparking discussions about the true meaning of wealth and happiness.”
- “Is it really necessary to pursue a college degree in today's competitive job market? This has become a hot topic among young people.”
- “How many of us have spent hours scrolling through our phones, only to realize that we've accomplished nothing productive? The issue of digital addiction is gaining more and more attention.”
记得有一次写关于“拖延症”的作文,我开头就问:“Do you always find yourself putting things off until the last minute? If so, you are not alone.”
- “As the great Albert Einstein once said, 'Imagination is more important than knowledge.' This statement highlights the vital role of creativity in human progress.”
- “There is a famous proverb that goes, 'Practice makes perfect.' This simple yet profound saying has guided countless people to achieve mastery in various fields.”
- “'To be, or not to be, that is the question.' Hamlet's dilemma from Shakespeare's tragedy resonates with many of us when we face difficult choices in life.”
比如我写关于“坚持”的作文,就引用了爱迪生的名言:“'Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.' Edison's words remind us that behind every great achievement lies relentless effort.”
- “From my perspective, learning a second language is not just about acquiring a new skill, but about opening a window to a different culture.”
- “I firmly believe that regular exercise is essential for maintaining both physical and mental well-being.”
- “There is no denying that the internet has revolutionized the way we access information and communicate with each other.” – “There is no denying that” 是一个很有力的表达,用于强调某个事实。
在讨论“阅读的重要性”时,我可能会说:“I am convinced that reading is one of the most rewarding habits a person can develop. It not only broadens our horizons but also enriches our souls.” “I am convinced” 比 “I think” 语气更肯定,也更有说服力。
这样的连接词,也可以用 “In the first place, In the second place……” 或者更自然的 “To begin with, What's more, Furthermore, Last but not least……”
- “There are several reasons why I prefer living in a small town. To begin with, the pace of life is much slower and less stressful. What's more, the sense of community is stronger, and people tend to know and care about each other more. Last but not least, the environment is usually cleaner and closer to nature.”
- “Why is it important to protect endangered animals? Firstly, they are an integral part of the ecosystem, and their extinction can disrupt the balance of nature. Secondly, many of these species have unique genetic materials that could be beneficial to human beings in the future. Furthermore, they are a precious heritage of our planet and we have a moral responsibility to pass them on to future generations.”
我以前写“为什么应该选择公共交通”时,就用了这样的结构:“First of all, using public transportation can significantly reduce traffic congestion in cities. Secondly, it is more environmentally friendly as it helps to decrease carbon emissions. Moreover, it is often more economical than owning and maintaining a private car.”
- “For instance, take the case of my friend Tom. He used to be very shy and rarely participated in class discussions. After he joined the debate club, however, he gradually became more confident and expressive.”
- “A case in point is the successful implementation of renewable energy in countries like Germany and Denmark. They have shown that it is possible to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and create a sustainable energy future.”
在论证“团队合作的重要性”时,我可能会举一个团队项目的例子:“I still remember the group project we had last semester. At first, we all had different ideas and it was chaos. But then we decided to assign each person tasks according to their strengths. In the end, not only did we get an A, but we also learned how to collaborate effectively. This experience really drove home the point that teamwork makes the dream work.”
- “While some people argue that technology is making us more isolated, I believe it is actually connecting people in ways we never thought possible before.” – “While……”
- “On the one hand, social media provides us with a platform to express ourselves and stay connected with friends and family. On the other hand, it can also be a source of misinformation and addiction if not used wisely.” – “On the one hand, On the other hand” 经典的对比句型。
- “It is true that traditional books have their own charm, but e-books offer unparalleled convenience, especially for people who are always on the go.” – “It is true that……, but……”
我在写“线上学习 vs 线下学习”时,就用了这样的对比:“Online learning offers flexibility and allows you to study at your own pace. However, it requires a high degree of self-discipline and you might miss out on the interactive experience of a physical classroom. Traditional classroom learning, on the other hand, provides direct interaction with teachers and peers, but it lacks the convenience of learning anytime, anywhere.”
- “In conclusion, while there are certainly challenges associated with urban living, the opportunities, convenience, and cultural diversity that cities offer make them incredibly attractive places to live and work.”
- “To sum up, learning to manage our time effectively is a skill that will benefit us in all aspects of life, leading to greater productivity and less stress.” – “To sum up” 也很常用。
写一篇关于“时间管理”的作文结尾,我可能会说:“All in all, time is a finite resource, and how we choose to use it defines the quality of our lives. By prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and minimizing distractions, we can make every moment count.”
- “Looking ahead, it is exciting to imagine how artificial intelligence will continue to transform our world and create new possibilities for humanity.”
- “The question is not whether climate change is real, but what each of us can do to mitigate its effects and build a more sustainable future for generations to come.”
在讨论“环境保护”的结尾,我可能会写:“The journey towards a greener planet is long and requires collective effort. But if each of us starts with small changes in our daily lives, such as reducing waste and using public transport, we can make a significant difference. The future of our planet is in our hands.”
- “Therefore, it is high time that we took immediate action to protect our oceans. Let's reduce plastic use, support sustainable fishing practices, and raise awareness about the importance of marine conservation.” – “It is high time that……”
- “Let's not wait for others to make a difference. Start today, be kind, be compassionate, and contribute to making our world a better place, one small act at a time.”
A listening ear, a helping hand, or a kind word can make a world of difference to someone in need. So let's reach out and make kindness a part of our daily lives.”
- “Besides, there is another aspect we should take into consideration.”
- “In addition to the points mentioned above, we should also bear in mind that……”
- “However, things are not always that simple.”
- “As a matter of fact, the situation is just the opposite.”
- “For example,……” / “Take……for example.”
- “In other words,……”
- “That is to say,……”
- “As can be seen from the above,……”
我写文章的时候,经常会把这些过渡句“缝”在段落之间,比如写完一个优点,用 “However, we should also be aware of its potential drawbacks.”
- 多用动词,少用名词化结构:比如用 “We must analyze the problem” 而不是 “We must make an analysis of the problem”。
比如 “Not only does he excel in academics, but he is also a talented musician.”
比如 “The book that I bought yesterday is very interesting.”
